Williams Admits Carlos Sainz Is Color Blind, But Only to the Color Blue

Could Papaya Piastri actually be bullying Sainz now that this news has come to light... blue light?

OXFORDSHIRE—While Williams has assured that the smooth operator, Carlos Sainz, has perfect vision, one fact came to light conveniently after the Hungarian Grand Prix: he is physically incapable of seeing the color blue. A fact he did not have to disclose until now since he ruined Piastri’s race.

The Hungarian Grand Prix brought lots of action, but none more dramatic than what originally appeared to be Sainz ignoring about 17 blue flags and battling with Piastri like his championship was on the line. Piastri, justifiably upset, had nothing positive to say. “They win one World Cup and all of a sudden they think they own the road.”

Sainz immediately went on the defensive. “I can’t see the color blue. Ask Williams. I thought our suits were green. Tell Piastri to stop being mean. This is a real condition.”

Williams declined to comment after simply stating, “He’s colorblind specifically to the color blue but has perfect vision otherwise. No more questions at this time. Thank you. Bye.” A reporter claims to have heard the Williams PR team whispering, “You think they believed it?” We can’t confirm this statement, but we believe them.

Will we ever really know if Carlos Sainz can see the color blue? Maybe not, but if he could see it, don’t you think he would have moved out of the way and let Piastri have his moment instead of getting in his way to keep a slight advantage in his heated and intense back-pack battle?
